Tottenham, Arsenal and Man City in mega battle to sign La Liga star

Tottenham have joined Arsenal and Man City in the race to sign Villarreal star Pablo Fornals, according to the latest reports coming out of the British media.

The Premier League trio are not the only clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old, Italian giants Napoli are reported to also be interested in signing the Spanish international, who they see as a replacement for Marek Hamsik who has departed for China.

Arsenal sees Fornals has the perfect replacement for the departing Aaron Ramsey, while Tottenham have to consider a long term replacement for Christian Eriksen who has not yet put pen to paper on a contract extension and of course, Man City are always on the lookout for players that will strengthen their squad.

According to some reports, Fornals has a release clause of just €25 million, which does sound a ridiculously low amount and if that is the case then it really comes down to which club the midfielder wants to join as the bidding process will not be a factor in determining which club he joins.
