Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to sign Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane but the Reds have made it clear there is no chance of that happening.
Since being reappointed as Real manager, Zidane has begun the process of identifying players he wants to take to the Bernabeu, these include Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar of Paris St Germain and Tottenham’s Cristian Eriksen, you can now add Mane to that ever increasing wish list.
Mane has been pivotal to the great season that Liverpool has had so far, he is a critical part of Jurgen Klopp’s strategy and it will take a stupendous offer, probably a world record offer, to persuade the German to sell, especially with there being no release clause in Mane’s contract.
The 26-year-old has been scintillating form ever since he joined the Reds scoring 53 goals and 21 assists in 111 matches.
According to Spanish media outlet Marca, the Senegal international is aware of Real’s interest since last summer, which in fact, predates Zidane’s return to Madrid.
Real are going to find it increasingly difficult to sign any potential Galacticos because of the inflated transfer fees and Mane is definitely one of those players that will cost an absolute fortune.
