Over the last few weeks, there has been mounting speculation over the future of Arsenal ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and it seems that the rumours have been accurate that Chinese clubs are very interested in signing the Gabon International.
It will cost at least £60 Million to prise the Golden Boot winner away from the Emirates and you can effectively double that figure for Chinese clubs.
The reason is simple, new Chinese transfer laws mean that whatever amount of money is paid to a foreign club the Chines club must pay the same amount in tax to the local government.
So, that would mean it would cost them £120 Million in total to sign Aubameyang and it is very unlikely they will do that.
That said, Arsenal has a new transfer policy in place that states that any player with two years left on their contract must either sign an extension or be sold, Aubameyang fits that criteria and so he will have to agree on a new deal with the Gunners or find a new club.
Will be very interesting to see if Arsenal stick to their new transfer policy of if it falls down at the very first hurdle.
