It is being reported that one of the first things that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will do once he is confirmed as the permanent Man Utd manager is to offload flop Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez, who is currently injured, has been an unmitigated disaster since he signed from Arsenal, he has failed under both Jose Mourinho and now Solskjaer to justify his crazy wages of up to £500k per week and is no longer a part of the Norwegians plans going forward.
The big problem for United is that no club on the planet will take on the Chileans huge wages and Sanchez will not move on for a lower wage.
This means that a loan deal is the best option, it would enable United to offset some of his wages, though not all, and free up space in the squad.
Sanchez arrived from the Gunners in January last year on a four-and-half-year deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going the other way and basically has no sell on value because of the wages he is on and the fact that he is now 30 years of age.
It is now unlikely that we will see Sanchez in a United again, he is probably out for the rest of the season due to the injury he suffered against Southampton and one way or another he will be leaving Old Trafford in the summer.
