Maurizio Sarri makes it clear that he wants to sign Tottenham flop

It is expected that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will leave his post within the next 48 hours to take over at Juventus and he has made it clear to his new employers that he wants to swoop on Tottenham for his first signing.

But surprisingly it is not Harry Kane, Dele Alli or Christian Eriksen that he wants to sign but flop Kieran Trippier, according to the latest transfer gossip.

Trippier has had an awful season for Spurs, his passing, crossing and defending has been woeful and the Tottenham fans have started to turn on him and will probably be relieved that Sarri wants the England international to join him in Italy.

Sarri has apparently told Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia that he is leaving and was due to have talks with Juve sporting director Fabio Patrici over the weekend and by all accounts, it is a done deal with Juventus offering the Italian £6.2million a year contract for three seasons.

It is not only Juventus that are interested in £35 Million rated Trippier, Napoli are also reported to be keen on signing the 28-year-old and the writing is on the wall that the England full-back will be departing Tottenham this summer, it is just a question of whether he will be playing under Sarri next season or someone else.
