When a player costs £90 Million you would expect the team to be built around you but not if you are Paul Pogba.
According to the latest Manchester United reports manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will instead rebuild his midfield around 22-year-old Scott McTominay.
It is quite clear that Solskjaer, just like the previous manager Jose Mourinho, no longer trusts Pogba and has lost faith in him and it is easy to see why.
Pogba has been a massive let down this season, he is so much better than what he has shown and the signs are there for anyone that wants to see them that he no longer wants to be at Old Trafford.
The same cannot be said of McTominay, he has been one of the very few United players that have put in consistently good performances, he has shown more desire and passion than any of his teammates and he is highly talented as well.
The Scotland international, who signed a new contract last January that will him see remain at the club until at least 2023 has already become a firm favourite with the fans and is set to become a huge presence at Old Trafford from next season onwards.
The youngster deserves this, he has stood tall when others around him have faltered badly and it is only right that he is to be rewarded with more prominence and responsibility.
And of course, this means that the writing is on the wall for Pogba who is almost certain to be sold in the summer. Most likely to Real Madrid.
