Lille striker Nicolas Pepe could find himself in a titanic struggle between Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool this summer, according to the latest reports.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is battling it out with the Reds transfer committee in an effort to force them to splash out a reported £80 Million for the forward.
Arsenal have been linked with the 24-year-old for some time now but it is difficult to see how they can afford such a high price tag.
And now it is being claimed that Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has targetted the Ivory Coast international as he attempts to rebuild the fallen giants.
German giants Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on Pepe, who they feel could be the ideal replacement for either Franck Ribery or Arjen Robben who have since departed the Bundesliga champions
Pepe was on fire for Lille as they finished second in Ligue 1 to moneybags Paris Saint Germain and his 23 goals and 12 assists in all competitions were pivotal to that success.
It really is set up for a huge battle this summer between four massive clubs with Liverpool and possibly United viewed as the front runners.
