Man City and Everton on alert as Tottenham set to allow Danny Rose to leave

Tottenham are set to do a mini overhaul of their squad this summer following two windows without any signings and in order to begin that overhaul they will need to offload some of their stars and it appears that Danny Rose is one of those players that will be allowed to leave

Clubs on alert are reported to be Man Utd, Man City and Everton, however, his wages of £80,000 per week are said to be putting some suitors off.

Rose has been a good servant for the club but has been prone to losing the ball at inopportune moments and a parting of ways was expected, Tottenham is looking for a more reliable defender and while the 28-year-old was effective going forward his defending was suspect at times.

No fee has been mentioned but Spurs will be able to get a decent amount for the England man, he is still at the top level and will do a job for whoever buys him.

Rose himself has admitted that his time may well be up in North London and intimated that he could well be playing elsewhere next season and based on the latest rumours he is right to assume that.
