Liverpool set to beat Manchester United and Chelsea to quality teenager

Liverpool has become the latest team to target Jude Bellingham after the teenager burst onto the scene this season.

The 16 years old has been in fine form for Birmingham City putting in performances that are beyond his age.

His performances have not gone unnoticed by the Premier League’s big boys and he has persistently been linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea in the past few months.

Express Sports is claiming that Liverpool have become aware of the players’ development and the Reds want to sign the 16-year-old.

Liverpool has had success signing players from the lower division before after they landed Joe Gomez from Charlton a few years back.

Gomez has developed to become Virgil van Dijk’s best defensive partner at Anfield and the Reds want to take another chance with Bellingham.

Manchester United was reportedly close to signing Bellingham in the last transfer window, but the teenager decided that it would be better for him to continue his development until the end of the season at Birmingham.

All his Premier League suitors are expected to return for his signature when this season ends but Liverpool is hopeful that they can beat their competitors to his signature.
