Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan are reported to be preparing to table official bids in the summer for Chelsea attacker Pedro, according to the latest gossip in the Italian media.
The Spanish forward will have just one year left on his contract in the summer and his looking for a significant extension with the Blues, however, they will offer no more than a years extension as per their club policy for over 30’s and this has alerted the Serie A duo to the possibility of signing the 31-year-old.
Chelsea would be open to Pedro leaving if they can manage to persuade FIFA to allow them to buy players in the summer transfer window, they do not hold back their over 30’s and have a record of letting them seek opportunities elsewhere, however, because of the FIFA sanction they are very reluctant to offload any players that they are not allowed to replace.
AC Milan is seen as the favourites over their bitter local rivals but right now, it is a waiting game to see what happens with the impending transfer ban.
