Everton and Man Utd set for big money Jordan Pickford transfer

It is looking increasingly likely that Everton keeper Jordan Pickford will be signing for Manchester United this summer.

Current United number one David De Gea, who has just one year left on his contract, is reported to be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer thus the interest from the Red Devils in the England stopper.

United are said to be prepared to offer up to £70 Million for the 25-year-old, a figure that the Toffees cannot turn down.

For their part, Everton appears to have accepted that Pickford will be leaving and have turned their attention towards Barcelona keeper Jasper Cillessen.

Cillessen is unhappy playing a backup role to Marc-Andre Ter Stegen at Barcelona and is keen on departing the Nou Camp in search of regular first-team football.

Barcelona had initially wanted in excess of £50 Million for the Dutchman, however, they have since dropped their asking price to a very affordable €20 Million.

That is very enticing for Everton who would in effect be getting a replacement for Pickford and £50 Million on top, it also works out well for United who will also be getting a very able replacement for de Gea.
