Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen wants a quick resolution over his future and has told his agent to get a fast decision from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, according to the latest reports.
Real have been linked with the Tottenham star for some time now, however, they do not appear to be acting with any urgency and this is starting to frustrate the Danish international.
In the event that no answer is forthcoming or Real decide not to pursue their interest in the midfielder then Eriksen wants his agent to open up negotiations with Spurs over a contract extension.
In some ways this is actually positive for Tottenham, it means that Eriksen, who has just 12 months remaining on his current deal, has no desire to sit his contract out and will either be sold for a big fee or commit himself to Spurs for the long term, either way, the Champions League finalists will not lose out financially.
It also means that Eriksen has decided that it is only Tottenham or Real Madrid he wants to play for and has no interest in signing for any other club, despite all the rumours in the media.
