Chelsea v Man Utd who will get the most points from first six games

It was natural that we would compare Man City and Liverpool over their first six games because they finished first and second respectively miles ahead of anyone else in last seasons Premier League and it was even more natural that we would compare bitter North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham and that just leaves Chelsea and Man Utd from the top six to compare and it feels fitting that these two struggling giants should be compared against each other.

These two used to dominate the Premier League but are now further away than they have been in a long time and it is critical to both teams that they get off to a very good start.

Here are their first six games and points predictions.

11/08/2019 Manchester Utd A
Huge opening first game for both teams but it is United I see winning this one – 0pts

17/08/2019 Leicester City H
Will be a tough game but I do see Chelsea getting their first three points in this one – 3pts

24/08/2019 Norwich City A
Norwich will be tough but Chelsea to win for me – 3pts

Another 3pts for the Blues – 3pts

14/09/2019 Wolves A
Will be a very tough game and one in which I do see Wolves winning – 0pts

21/09/2019 Liverpool H
Chelsea will look for the win but be satisfied with the draw – 1pt

Total of 10pts

Manchester United
11/08/2019 Chelsea H
United to get the win and give themselves the best start possible – 3pts

17/08/2019 Wolverhampton A
Wolves beat United in this game last season and I see a repeat – 0pts

24/08/2019 Crystal Palace H
Will not be easy but they should get all three points – 3pts

31/08/2019 Southampton A
Southampton will be a lot tougher to beat this season and a draw looks strong – 1pt

14/09/2019 Leicester City H
Brendan Rodgers will love to beat United at Old Trafford but I do not see it – 3pts

21/09/2019 West Ham United A
Always a tricky game for United but I do see them winning this one – 3pts

Total of 13pts

The Red Devils to emerge three points clear over Chelsea after the first six games but obviously, the key to that is the very first game for these two when they clash at Old Trafford.
