Chelsea among a number of clubs interested in signing Sandro Tonali

Chelsea are reported to be scouting 18-year-old Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.

The Blues are not the only club interested in the teenager, they face strong competition from Man City Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma, who have also sent scouts to monitor the youngster.

Despite playing in Serie B, Tonali has already been called up to the Italian national squad by manager Roberto Mancini

Tonali, who some have dubbed the ‘new Andrea Pirlo, has already made 30 first team appearances with three goals and six assists to his name.

Chelsea fans can thank Joe Cole for persuading Eden Hazard to sign for the Blues

Chelsea fans can thank former midfielder Joe Cole for Eden Hazard signing for the Blues.

Cole, who announced his retirement from football yesterday, convinced the Belgium playmaker to join Chelsea back in 2012.

‘I spoke to him before I signed for Chelsea,’ Hazard said on the Chelsea’s Twitter account.

‘Every day, seriously, he was telling me that Chelsea was the best club for me.

‘He said Chelsea was a big club where you can win trophies every season. For that reason I signed, so thank you, Joe Cole!’

Hazard not thinking about a move to Real Madrid according to his brother Thorgan

Hazard is not considering a move to Real Madrid just yet according to his brother Thorgan Hazard

Hazard has 18 months left on his current contract and speculation continues to grow over his future at Stamford Bridge but his brother is insistent that Hazard is not even thinking about a move.

Thorgan also claims that if his brother was to leave Chelsea he would make sure it was done on amicable terms.

Giroud set to play the Green Goblin in animated Spider Man

Olivier Giroud is all set the make his acting debut, albeit as a voice in a new Spider-Man animation that is set to air next month.

Giroud will “play” the Green Goblin in the French-dubbed version of “Spider-Man: New Generation,”

Christensen not intending to leave Chelsea in January

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen does not think he will leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.

There had been rumours that the Danish international was unhappy at Chelsea due to limited playing time and would be looking for a winter move, however, when asked if he would be leaving in the transfer window, he told Sky Sports “Difficult question. No, I don’t think so.
