Chelsea transfer gossip and news round up – 24th January 2019

Quite a bit of transfer gossip involving Chelsea today, including a potential big money transfer with Napoli, a player going out on loan and losing out to PSG for a long term target.

Chelsea is set to lose out to Paris St-Germain in the battle to sign Zenit St Petersburg’s Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes, 24, according to a report in the Telegraph.

One player set to leave Stamford Bridge is 28-year-old Victor Moses is who set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce on a loan until the end of the current season reports Goal.com.

The Mirror is claiming that Chelsea is looking to make a move for Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj from Napoli. The Albanian has played under Sarri previously at Napoli and Empoli and the Italian is reportedly confident that they will be reunited for a third time.

Chelsea will have to splash out a whopping £50m if they want to sign 21-year-old Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella. Inter Milan and Napoli are also very keen and this has played right into the hands of Cagliari who have made it clear that whoever pays up the full valuation will then win the race to sign the youngster reports The Mirror.
