Some players generate a lot of interest with clubs lining up to sign them and when that happens the price is inevitably pushed upwards and that is exactly what is happening with Bournemouth star Nathan Ake, who is now wanted by at least four top clubs.
Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham have already been linked with the 24-year-old and you can now add Italian giants Napoli to the growing list.
The price for Ake has now jumped from £20 Million up to £30 Million due to the increased interest in him and even then, there is no guarantee that Bournemouth will sell at that price.
Chelsea have obviously realised their mistake in letting the defender leave in 2017, for some reason they never realised his potential using him a mere seven times and loaning him out on three separate occasions.
Tottenham are looking for a long term replacement for Toby Alderweireld who is set to leave White Hart Lane, probably for Man Utd and United themselves are looking to overhaul their defence with multiple signings.
Napoli apparently sees the young Dutchman as a replacement for veteran Raul Albiol, however, it is Chelsea that is seen as the most likely destination because of a rumoured buy-back clause.
The Mirror is claiming that the Blues negotiated a £40 Million buy-back clause when they sold Ake to Bournemouth for £20 Million, though they are also reporting that he is very reluctant to return to his previous club.
The only thing we can be fairly certain of right now is that with so many clubs interested one of them is almost sure to table an offer in the summer.
