According to reports coming out of France French Ligue 1 outfit, Bordeaux is on the verge of completing the signing of Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny.
Koscielny has basically been on strike since refusing to go on the Gunners pre-season tour of the United States in order to force a move back to his native France.
It has got so bad that the Frenchman is exploring what legal options are open to him and his anger appears to stem from being offered a three-year deal but with a 50% pay cut.
Rennes was also very keen on signing the 33-year-old but it seems that Bordeaux has won the race to sign the Arsenal captain.
Arsenal had been holding out for a fee in the region of £8.8 Million but it is being reported on the BBC that 5 Million euro figure has been agreed.
Arsenal continues to have issues in defence and they had hoped for Koscielny to be with them for at least another year and his antics have thrown their plans into chaos.
There is still time for the Gunners to bring in a new central defender with Danielle Rugani of Juventus being mentioned as a possible replacement.
