The signs are there that Arsenal are ready to make a move into the transfer market before the January window closes next week.
Wanted by both Arsenal and Tottenham
Spurs have been strongly linked with the young Brazilian ever since Harry Kane got injured, however, it seems that they could miss out to the Gunners. Kane is out of action until at least March and thus the rumour mill has gone into overdrive about what they will be doing in terms of a possible replacement.
Tottenham want Malcom as a replacement for injured Harry Kane
Malcom would be a strange buy for Arsenal, they are well stocked up front and if anything, it is the midfield and possibly the defence that needs strengthening first.
That said, it is easy to understand why both clubs would be interested in the youngster, he is very versatile, he can play both central striker and on the wings and is apparently available having failed to make his mark in Spain.
If Arsenal, or for that matter Tottenham, decide to stump up a fee reported to be in the region of £30 Million they will almost certainly be able to sign a young player with an exciting future ahead of him.
