Arsenal are determined to keep star man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Emirates following news of interest in him from China and will offer their hitman a massive £50 Million three-year deal to keep him loyal.
The offer is made up of £13 Million a year in basic salary and a £3.75 Million per season loyalty bonus, that comes to a cool £50,250,000, not a bad deal.
The Chinese will offer more according to reports but Arsenal is convinced that what they are going to offer will be more than enough to keep the Gabon International in North London.
If Aubameyang does not agree to a new deal he will be sold in line with Arsenal’s new transfer policy of selling players with just two years left on their contracts if they do not agree on an extension.
The Gunners would be loathed to lose the 29-year-old, his goals were crucial last season and he would leave a huge gap up front, his partnership with Alexandre Lacazette is working out well and even though he would attract a decent fee there is no guarantee that Arsenal can sign anyone of his calibre without Champions League football.
Arsenal will sit down with Aubameyang this week and everything should become much clearer then.
