Arsenal and Tottenham face competition from European giants for defensive target

Arsenal and Tottenham has to face the threat of Borussia Dortmund in their bid to sign Max Aaron from Norwich.

The 19 years old has been one of the Canaries’ top performers this season and his performances at right-back have attracted not just the attention of Arsenal and Tottenham but several top European sides as well.

Arsenal has been scouting Aaron since he was in the Championship and the Gunners appear to be close to making a move for him.

However, Four Four Two is reporting that the defender is also on the radar of Dortmund among other teams.

Jose Mourinho is also looking to bring him in at Tottenham but Dortmund is confident that they can convince him to join them.

Hector Bellerin has been struggling with injuries for the past three seasons and he doesn’t look ready to be back to full fitness.

Mikel Arteta considers Aarons the perfect player for the Gunners because of his age as he would grow to make the right-back spot his.

Norwich City has had to depend on bargain buys and they spent almost nothing in the last transfer window. But they would be fine with selling Aarons and the report claims that a bid of £30 million would be enough to convince them to sell.
