The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revolution at Old Trafford continues unabated with another major decision made by the former United legend, according to Talksport.
Solskjaer has reversed a decision made by his predecessor Jose Mourinho and reinstated Paul Pogba to the United leadership group and will now be available to captain the side.
Pogba was stripped of his vice-captain role four months ago after a falling out with Mourinho, however, he is now back in favour under the new management and will be able to lead the side in the absence of club captain Antonio Valencia and second-choice Ashley Young.
Speaking about his decision to reinstate Pogba, Solskjaer said
“He’s definitely captaincy material,”
The Pogba Mourinho relationship was in bad shape
Which is completely opposite to what Mourinho had previously said of the French world cup winner when he stripped of the armband late last year.
There is no doubt that Pogba has earned the right to be back among the leaders at United, his game and demeanour has improved massively since Solskjaer took over from Mourinho and it shows that good man management will always reap rewards, something that Mourinho clearly failed to grasp.
